For those of you looking for a counselor/therapist in the Washington, DC area, I hope this site provides you an introduction to me and my work.

Located at 1660 L Street, N.W., in Suite 503,  I've been in this location since beginning private practice in 1989.  Two colleagues, Nancy Dickinson, Nancy Pentz and I began Dickinson Pentz McCall Associates.  In 1996, Ed Honnold joined us, so we are now Dickinson Pentz McCall & Honnold Associates.

I created a basic website several years ago as a primary reference point for my therapy practice. I wanted it to be and to become more than just a static presentation of my resume. Somehow I let other things crowd in ahead of this.  

But the time has come, largely through conversations with and encouragement by friends, colleagues and clients. You will now find a media section which lists things such as movies, books, plays and television shows which relate directly to child sexual abuse,  adult maladjustments including addictions, and the interplay and relationship between the two sets of issues.  "In The News" is current news regarding human sexuality and addictions.  The third section will be my "blog", or comments and reflections on all of the above.  I invite you who visit my site to contribute names of media items of which I may not be aware, links to news items you come across that I may have missed, and comments on my comments.  So -- come on in, learn more, educate me more, and let's have a dialogue for healing.
